About
Nurse-Family Partnership is a free, voluntary program that connects first-time parents with a registered nurse who provides ongoing, one-on-one support during pregnancy and through the child’s early years. Nurses offer guidance on healthy pregnancy, infant care, and parenting, while also helping families set goals for education, employment, and overall well-being. Services are delivered through regular home visits, creating a trusted relationship that supports both parent and child. The program focuses on improving birth outcomes, strengthening parent-child bonds, and helping families build a strong, healthy future. To be eligible, participants must be first-time parent, 28 weeks or less pregnant, and enrolled during pregnancy; additional income or residency guidelines may apply depending on local program requirements.
